Citizens should leave Lebanon immediately, the Saudi embassy instructed.

The Saudi Embassy in Lebanon has said on Saturday that it is 

closely monitoring the recent events in South Lebanon.
According to Arab News, in a statement, the embassy urged all Saudi citizens to 'refrain from traveling to Lebanon and citizens there to leave Lebanese territory immediately

he statement said that 'citizens can contact the embassy in case of need and emergency'.
It should be noted that since the start of the war in Gaza, the two sides have been exchanging fire almost daily.

This month there has been an increase in such exchanges from both sides. Israel's military said plans to attack Lebanon had been 'approved and confirmed'.
On Saturday, Iran warned that if Israel attacked Lebanon, a group consisting of Iran and its regional allies would counter it.
According to AFP, the comments from Iran's mission in New York came amid fears of a wider regional war between Israel and the Iran-backed Hezbollah group in Lebanon.
